Liz Lange’s New Convertible Diaper Bag Collection Satisfies The Fashionista in Every Mom

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a bonafide handbag hoarder. I love bags and dream of building a cavernous handbag haven/walk-in closet in my dream house. Not even mommyhood curtailed my handbag fixation. In fact, I was sent into overdrive.  I was all about the designer diaper bag, and specifically the diaper bag that absolutely positively does not look like a diaper bag. That’s why I was so excited to attend the launch of Liz Lange’s new Convertible Diaper Bag line last week in New York.

Me, Liz Lange and Ann Friedman,
MochaManual.com editorial assistant
and a sneak peak at the new collection.

Liz Lange is one of the biggest names in maternity wear—I know she kept me in great office wear from her boutiques and great weekend wear from her Target line.

Now she’s extended her signature style into the diaper bag arena. Ladies, these bags are absolutely delicious! It’s almost feels shameful to call them diaper bags.

The high-end collection ranges from the Birkin bag look to a summer canvas tote to a quilted bag to an oversized tote that could be used as an overnighter. The collection gives moms the style they want with the functionality they need.

The exteriors are luxurious—from pebbled leather to feisty prints and patent leathers. The interior is fitted with lots of compartments for the things you and baby need. Plus, they each have removable diaper changing pads and bottle warmers along with cute matching clutches to hold your personal items.

We chatted with Liz Lange about her inspiration and life as a stylish mom herself. Liz said she wants moms with style to have handbags that are as chic and convertible as possible.
