The Mocha Manual hit Chi-town in a big way this July with a lovely book event hosted by My First Salon - located at 1724 E 71st street. My First Salon, owned by a truly innovative sistah and friend to the Mocha Manual Ericka Gibson, was developed for children (hence the name) and is a huge help for midwest Mocha Moms. My First Salon is for the future divas (and their moms) of the world, and not only enhances beauty, but stimulates young minds with their creative environment as well. Shout-out to Ericka and the staff of My First Salon for making the Mocha Manual book event a success and for making me and my family feel welcome.
