We are closing out this fabulous month of March also known as Women's History Month by focusing on 5 Women we love who are making a little history of their own, and are showing us how to be true power mamas. First up is Melissa Dawn Johnson, President of Velvet Suite Marketing. For you lucky ladies in the Hot-lanta area, Johnson recently put together a wonderful brand leadership conference specifically for sistas held at the W Hotel in Buckhead March 17-20. During the chaos of putting the event together, Johnson still had time to answer our questions. MM: What three words best describe you? Johnson: PASSION, PURPOSE AND ENTERPRISING MM: How do you get motivated and inspired as an entrepreneur? Johnson: IT WAS IN MY BLOOD, I ALWAYS WAS INTERESTED IN CREATING VENTURES, NEW OPPORTUNITIES AND MORE MM: What's the most important life lesson you've learned thus far? Johnson: TO KNOW THAT FAITH IS THE KEY TO ANYTHING THAT YOU CAN'T SEE. ALSO, TO BELIEVE IN SECOND CHANCES AND NEW BEGINNINGS. MM: Tell us about a woman in history that you would love to meet and why. Johnson: MARY, THE MOTHER OF JESUS. WHY NOT? :) SHE BIRTHED THE GREATEST GIFT TO MAN KIND AND IT ALL FROM BEGINNING TO END WAS A SACRIFICE. MM: What's your guilty pleasure?
